Matcha

Matcha is very popular these days. Matcha was introduced to America by the book “The Book Of Tea”in 1906.

Japanese Tea Ceremony started in Kamakura period (around 1192). Back then, only upper class people such as Shogun could have matcha.

Matcha is made by grinding the highest quality green tea leaves, Tencha in the stone mill. Unlike drinking other green tea, drinking matcha is the same as eating whole green tea leaves. Therefore, you can get a lot more nutritions than brewed green tea. Matcha is the best of green tea.
